I began my comedy career in Lake Charles, Louisiana, at a little downtown bar called D’Agostino’s. My friends and I would put on shows that were some wonderfully chaotic combination of improv, sketch, and stand-up. We were figuring it out as we went, having a blast, and building something unique without even realizing it.

Lake Charles has always been a creative home for me—a place where I could come back with new material, and the same familiar faces would show up again and again. They'd bring their friends, and those friends would bring their friends, and before long we were packing rooms every week and laughing - together.

For years, I dreamed of coming back to Lake Charles to film a comedy special. To finally make that happen—and to do it surrounded by people I've known and loved for so long—meant more than I can put into words. It wasn't just a taping. It was a homecoming. And getting to create it with the community that helped shape me made this special, well... super special. Thanks, y’all!
